  • Arabian horses are extremely hardy animals. They thrive in the harsh climate of the desert and can travel great distances due to their endurance, light weight, and strong muscular bodies. 
  • In ancient times they were used as war horses, because of their speed and agility.
  • It is said that a Bedouin horse master measures the level of a horse’s discipline by taking them into a journey in the desert. After several days, he turns the herd loose to an oasis for a desperately needed drink of water. Before the herd reaches the water, the master calls them to return to him. Only those who obey are considered worthy of their master’s trust and care. 
  • Arabians are very loyal animals, and will be obedient to a master if treated well
