  • Peregrine falcons fly very high, and once it spots its prey, dives very quickly, up to 200 miles per hour, to snatch it out of the air. 
  • The falcon’s amazing accuracy can be attributed to its highly developed eyesight, along with a superior skill of navigating.
  • Peregrine falcons are birds of prey and are found in most parts of the world, except Antarctica. They live in a wide variety of habitats but especially thrive in areas along shorelines where there are large populations of food.
