Did you know?

  • Snow leopards live in the high rugged mountains and cliffs of Central Asia. While their terrain is harsh, it provides camouflage as they sneak up on their prey and then patiently wait for the right moment to attack.
  • The snow leopard’s tail is almost as long as its body. The tail helps the snow leopard stay balanced while maneuvering on dangerous terrain.
  • The snow leopard is most active at dawn and dusk unless there are humans around. If there are humans present they will hunt at night.
