Enligh Time Suggestions
- Emotions have two major functions in life: they warn and reward.
- What are some rewarding emotions?
- What are some warning emotions?
- Write these emotions in your journal.
- Look at the list you made of rewarding and warning emotions. Take a moment and think about the most common feelings you have in a typical week and then reflect on what triggers these emotions and what you do with these emotions. (i.e., “When ___, I am experiencing frustration and I___.” or, “When ___, I am happy and I___.”)
- What good can come from being aware of these emotions?
- As you practice the principles taught on the Island of Awareness, you will begin to develop greater self-mastery and be able to align yourself with who you really are.
